Support Wimberley's Community Radio Station
Wimberley Valley Radio has received a construction permit from the Federal
Communications Commission (FCC) to build a new low power FM radio station in Wimberley, TX. After the Memorial Day Weekend flood, the FCC gave temporary permission to broadcast. Recently we applied for the FCC's regular license and are awaiting that decision. We have to purchase broadcast equipment, build a broadcast studio, and train our volunteers before July 2016 to meet our FCC deadline before we can receive a regular low power radio broadcasting license.
