Local Shows Listen to Individual Episodes on Audio Archives Page Alphabet Soup is a half-hour devoted to poetry, books, and live theatre for the lover of the literary arts. Animal Chat is hosted by Tracy Sheffield. Tracy received a degree in Animal Science from Oregon State University. She has been involved with animals, their care and training her entire professional career. Animal Chat covers a variety of topics including animal care, health, behavior, their relationships with people and more. DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) Texas has teamed up with KWVH 94.1 FM Wimberley Valley Radio to produce an hour of entertainment and education by introducing the listener to Texas Authors and their books. The show will be co-Hosted by award winning authors B Alan Bourgeois and Allan C Kimball. Each will have a unique style that will keep listeners informed and entertained. Mind/Body Talks, a program focusing on holistic health, is hosted by Psychologist Dr. Don Johnson. Health care providers share their practice experience and philosophy of care. Local practitioners will include acupuncturists, physicians, yoga instructors, counselors, massage therapists, nutritionists and many other individuals involved in Mind/Body care. Mothering Earth, a half hour show about sustainable living, gardening, and food is hosted by the multi-talented Salwa Khan. Salwa makes documentaries, gardens, writes, and teaches at Texas State University. Pet of the Week, hosted by Arthur Williams, features interviews with animal adoption advocates such as Wimberley Adoption Group and Rescue (WAG Rescue). Voices of Our Hearts features voices from the past and present about Wimberley Lifestyles & Culture, and is hosted by DuAnne Redus and Walter Stewart. Other Locally Produced ShowsProgram ScheduleThe streaming radio program schedule takes some time to load, but is available below. The on-air schedule is quite different, since we now have music licenses for broadcast but not for streaming. Also, KWVH is awaiting the purchase of station scheduling software. In the meantime, after the top of the hour news and interviews the playlist which has paused for the top of the hour content, will resume.

The latest interviews are with Sarah McSweeney and Gerry Burns. Catch those interview and performances weekdays at 7 am, 1 and 7 pm, Saturday at midnight, 1 pm, and 8:30 pm, and Sunday at midnight. That interview was recorded recently at Encore Studios in Wimberley. Two recent interviews were with Larry Seiler and with Abbey Hirvela. Seiler is a music producer; Abbey Hirvela is a very talented 16 year-old singer-songwriter from Houston. Enjoy those interviews and Abbey's performance weekdays at midnight, 4 and 9 pm , and on Saturday and Sunday at 4 and 9 am, 2 and 7 pm. The earlier interview was with Mandy Mercier. That interview and performance can still be heard – and streams at 11 pm weekdays, as well as 10:30 pm on Saturday and 10 pm on Sunday. Artists share insights into the life of the singer-songwriter as well as some of their original music with host (and fellow singer-songwriter) Suzanna Eckchum. The current schedule of interviews of musical guests for The RCD Show are below. The RCD Show is a half hour interview show with singer-songwriters conducted by host Ricky Charles Dodson. Artists sing some of their original music and discuss their music and influences with Ricky Charles Dodson. The latest interview on The RCD Show is with Hollis Wayne and The Happy Horse Band from Bastrop, Texas. Weekdays at 6 am, noon, and 10 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday at 1, 5, and 8 am, as well as 2 and 6 pm. A recent performance that you can hear still on The RCD Show is with The Lucas Brothers. Weekdays at 4 and 10 am and 8 pm, Saturday at 8 and 11:30 pm, Sunday at 11:30 pm.
